Opinion formation in the kinetic exchange models

講演要旨：

In this talk I will present the minimal multi-agent
model [LCCC, Phys. Rev. E 82, 056112 (2010)] for the
collective dynamics of opinion formation in the society,
which was based on the kinetic exchange dynamics
studied in the context of income, money or wealth
distributions in a society. This model has an intriguing
spontaneous symmetry breaking transition to polarized
opinion state starting from non-polarized opinion state.
I will also briefly review the simple variants and extensions
of this model that have been proposed recently by others.
